The Islamic Society of Monterey County was incorporated as a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization in 1965. Beginning as a small community worshipping from home to home, we established our mosque in Seaside, California, to provide an educational, social, and spiritual environment for Muslims. We place a special emphasis on preparing our youth for future challenges while maintaining a firm commitment to Islamic values as we continue to grow and expand.
